The Boston Community Partnership Project represents USADOF's deep engagement with the Massachusetts community as part of our multi-state legislative and civic organizing strategy. Massachusetts is home to two active Freedmen Affairs bills — H.4351 and H.1696 — and the Boston community has been central to building the coalition necessary to advance this legislation.

The following photo documentation captures our organizing work, community meetings, and outreach efforts in the greater Boston area as part of Be The Power's New England operations.

To learn more about USADOF's Massachusetts legislative strategy, read about H.4351 and H.1696 — two active bills establishing an Office of Freedmen Affairs in the Commonwealth. Massachusetts is our legislative beachhead and Boston is at the heart of that fight.
